Rockwell Automation acquired Incuity Software, Inc. on May 13, 2008. Incuity is a leading supplier of Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) software whose solution provides real-time intelligence for business decision support to improve operations and reduce production waste by providing valuable management insight into both a company’s manufacturing operations and its enterprise business systems.

The founders of Incuity have more than two decades of innovation in solutions dealing with manufacturing information management. They created the industry’s first real-time SQL database product. They then created a versatile data access and reporting toolset that worked with that historian for analysis, trending, plotting and sharing of information. Finally, they have created the newest generation of enterprise manufacturing  intelligence solutions for continuous process, batch and discrete manufacturing companies.

The Incuity products are now integrated with Rockwell Software’s FactoryTalk® environment (LiveData, Historian and Alarms & Events). The new version is being offered in two editions—FactoryTalk VantagePoint, which is a web-based manufacturing visualization, analysis and reporting portal, and FactoryTalk VantagePoint EMI, which is a fully configured Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence solution.
