Terminal Services Solutions
Terminal Services operates on the mainframe paradigm, by leveraging the power of Windows® 2000 Terminal Services. Each thin client realizes its own Windows® 2000 session and operates independently from the other clients. Each client user gets a dedicated share of memory, some slices of CPU time, and access to the terminal server's disks and applications as allowed. As the number of thin clients grows, the number of servers can grow as well. Clients can be dedicated to a particular server, or, at boot up, can automatically be directed to the server that is least busy. Design and Configuration of IndustrialSQL Server™ systems
Our knowledge and experience allow us to quickly and efficiently build and configure the Runtime database needed to meet your needs. We can develop the database starting with an InTouch® application, another vendor's SCADA system, or with the PLC/DCS code running your plant.
IndustrialSQL Server™ Site Evaluations
This service is offered to customers who already have a system(s) up and running but may not be satisfied with the performance or would like to ensure that they are getting the most out of their systems. This service typically includes checking the following: configuration, IO Server, storage system, event system, MS-SQL Server Runtime database, backup and archive systems, error logs (InSQL and MS-SQL) and client configuration. We can also provide on-site training as required. Our deliverable to you is not only an improved system, but a detailed report of the activities we performed and any recommendations. The site evaluation is typically 3 days in duration.
Design and Development of Custom Database Solutions
In many cases, IndustrialSQL Server™ is one of the building blocks of a much larger requirement to track various types of data throughout your process. Customer requirements typically include: Production Monitoring and Control, Production Scheduling, Recipe Handling, Production Reporting, Consumption Reporting, Downtime Tracking and Analysis, Environmental or Regulatory Reporting, Product Processing History, and Integration of Manual Data entry.
